Castore Teamwear Step-Up Their Exposure

Castore team ups

Champions teaming up with Castore teamwear

Castore confirmed they would be the official kit supplier to the England Cricket team in September 2021. Castore launched the cricket collection in April 2022 in time for the new international season. Furthermore, the new teamwear range offered a reenergised take on the classic cricket kit.  In June 2022, the public got to see the England team for the first time in the Castore cricket team wear when England played New Zealand in a 3 test series. The England cricket team won the series. England went 2-0 up in the series when they chased down 299 in the fourth innings at Edgbaston.

On the final day, Edgbaston offered free entry, giving spectators an exciting match day. England eventually won the game with five wickets in hand. In his first test series as captain, Ben Stokes hit 75, not out to win the game. Free entry and the compelling finale gave Castore excellent exposure on the international cricket scene.

Castore score deals with professional football clubs

Castore presently has partnerships with newly taken over Newcastle United and Wolverhampton Wanderers. Castore is confident that football fans across the UK will get to see the Castore teamwear brand. Plus, with Match of the Day viewers tunning in, more people will be exposed to the Castore brand. Furthermore, Castore has signed partnership agreements with Gary Neville’s Salford CityMK Dons and Charlton, giving lower leagues a taste of the Castore brand. Exposure will filter down to the grassroots level with clubs wanting to wear Castore team wear.

Defeat for the Saracens

Castore athlete and ambassador Owen Farrell suffered last-minute disappointment in the Premiership Final when Castore partner Saracens lost to Leicester Tigers 15-12. Even after Owen Farrell landed a penalty late in the game to make the scores level at 12 -12, extra time seemed to be on the cards. However, both Saracens and Owen Farrell faced disappointment when, with only 30 seconds remaining in the game, Freddie Burns slotted over a drop goal to win it for Leicester.

The Premiership Final was on BT Sport, and for the first time, on terrestrial TV, ITV. Furthermore, the game got a TV record audience, giving the Castore brand the limelight with great exposure even though the result was disappointing.
