What is the purpose of a printed number?

A Personal Touch – Some choose a number that represents an important date in their lives (e.g. birthdays and anniversary), or even a number that they associate with good luck.

Honouring Idols – Many athletes have been known to select a number that was worn by their idols in the past. This gives the player a sense of pride when they wear the shirt.

Position-specific numbers – Over time, certain numbers have become synonymous with certain positions. For example, in football, Goalkeepers are usually associated with number 1 and in Rugby Union, the number 13 jersey is primarily given to the Outside Centre.

How much do printed numbers cost?

Full-colour screen printed transfers are ideal for intricate artwork with photographic components or several colours. The CMYK values in your art file get used to print your image.

Large Numbers

These can typically be found on the back of a jersey, the cost for this print is £3.75 per print.

Small Numbers

Small numbers are found on the front of jerseys, or on pants/shorts. These numbers usually measure between 3-5cm in height. The cost for small numbers is £3.50 per print.
