2021 summer sports events
We now have a summer of sport to look forward to after the success of the football Euro 2020 finals, the Wimbledon tennis Championship and the British Grand Prix.
Sports fans can enjoy several major sporting events taking place over the coming weeks. Many English football fans are still getting over the disappointment of losing on penalties against Italy in the Euro 2020 final. However, sports fans can now turn their attention to other sporting activities throughout the summer.
cricket’s new format for the summer of 2021Â
Cricket fans can look forward to the new ‘The Hundred‘ format for the summer of 2021. The new set-up is created to accompany eight male and female teams and features some of the best cricketers in the world. The new format sees both competitions running side by side with The Hundred finals taking place at Lords on August 21st.
The Hundred has been inspired by some of the world’s best cricketers and intends to attract a younger audience with more boys and girls getting into cricket. ADM is now looking forward to supplying many new clubs and established clubs with quality new cricket kits.
rugby union is back in action for the summer
We recently wrote an article detailing Warren Gatland team selection for the British Lions and Irish Lions. He outlined his team choice for the three-match test series against the World Champions South Africa. All three test matches are set to play at the same venue. The three rugby games will be played at the Cape Town Stadium on consecutive Saturdays starting on July 24th.

The long-anticipated opening ceremony of the delayed Tokyo Olympics will be televised on Friday 23rd July 2021. The 2020 Tokyo Olympic games will feature 33 sports across 42 venues. There will be several different sporting events with something for all sports fans. However, spectators will not be allowed to go to the games meaning watching the sport live has been stopped due to COVID 19. But viewing figures for television coverage is expected to be very high across the world.
Coverage of the Paralympics featuring 22 sports across 21 venues, starts on August 24th.
