Rugby Union Clubs Start Planning For The 2023/24 Season

Many club committees have already begun planning for the 23/24 season
The season is already over for several rugby union clubs. Even though the off-season has only just begun, several club committees have already started preparing for the 23/24 season and are now looking for custom Rugby union kit for the new season.
One of the ADM directors, Matt Johnson, recently travelled to London to speak with one of their main customers, Eton Manor RFC. Eton Manor mens 1st XV plays in the London Region 2 Anglia (Level 6) and has had a very successful season in both the ladies’ and gents’ senior teams, plus the junior section. Furthermore, ADM recently completed the first year of a three-year relationship with EMRFC to offer the Canterbury rugby brand to all age-level teams.
However, before discussing kit requirements for the season 23/24, topics of discussion included how the club will be affected by the new tackle law, the impact it will have on club membership, and how the club is already preparing to show games at the Rugby World Cup in France beginning in September 2023.
Matt met Ian Watkins from Canterbury at Nutter Lane, the home of Eaton Manor RFC, after a three-hour train ride from Wigan North Western station via Euston to Wanstead.
“It was great to see some new acquaintances, particularly the director of rugby Mark Farrell, who was as enthusiastic as ever about Eton Manor and the upcoming season,” Matt added.
The club’s reaction was very positive, as Mark Farrell stated. “We reached out to ADM when our contract with another rugby brand came to a sudden stop after just one year into a three-year deal! From my initial phone call with ADM, I knew this was the company to be with.
ADM handled our whole transition from our previous kit supplier to Canterbury seamlessly and easily! ADM re-invented our webshop and stocked it with a full range of attire that is easy to navigate and purchase. We are delighted with ADM being our new club kit
supplier. From where we were only a few months ago, with the disrupted supplies, and poor customer care to where we are now with ADM is like chalk and cheese.“
“It was a terrific meeting, with further assistance agreed upon by Canterbury and ADM to grow the partnership further, but it was soon time to begin the long drive home to Wigan. However, it shows the commitment ADM and Canterbury are willing to go to, to grow the relationship over the coming years.” Matt added.
