Australia host the ICC Men's 2022 T20 World Cup
The current T20 World Cup holders Australia, beat New Zealand in the final back in 2021 final. So the 2022 T20 World Cup will now be hosted in Australia, starting on the 16th of October. Furthermore, the England cricket team will travel to Australia to compete. England cricket hopes to keep their winning streak going on the back of the T20 series win over Pakistan.
England named their T20 World Cup squad at the start of September with some notable absentees. Including the big-hitter, Jason Roy, who surprisingly hasn’t been included in the England squad. Jason’s absents is due to a lack of form. Plus, Jonny Bairstow misses out after a freak accident on the golf course, leading to injuring his knee.
